In the third series of King Seiko commemorative limited-edition watches celebrating Seiko’s 145th anniversary, “Edo purple” serves as a central design element. This color reflects traditions passed on from ancient Edo to modern-day Tokyo and the spirit of creativity that has kept Seiko Prospex Japan’s largest city evolving into the present day.
Based on the popular SKX series, this Seiko Presage model features a dial color inspired by “Edo-murasaki”. A shade of purple that was popular in clothing during the Edo Seiko 5 Sports period is making it attractive to pair with contemporary fashion.
Seiko 5 Sports Seiko Astron logo features gold lettering that evokes a “bright future,” expressing the splendor of the 145th anniversary.
